Katharina de Andrade Ruiz
WRITER, CURATOR, ART MEDIATOR, PRODUCER FOR ART- AND DANCEPROJECTS
Katharina de Andrade Ruiz is an art historian and lives in Hamburg. Her research and work focus on contemporary dance in exhibitions and museums and contemporary art. She completed her PhD at the Institute of Art History at the University of Freiburg, where she also worked as a research assistant.
Her book “Wie kommt Tanz in Museum?“ (engl.: How does dance enter the museum? On dance art in the exhibition context with choreographic works by Xavier Le Roy, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and Boris Charmatz) was published by transcript Verlag in the TanzScripte series.
